Position Summary:

The staff psychologist will provide weekly individual therapy to students at YU undergrad or graduate level. He/She will bring specific expertise that is needed and will have experience working with college student mental health and proven success with YU students specifically if possible.

Position Responsibilities:

• Individual therapy
• Outreach to students and to staff
• Provide consultation to other counselors and to staff

Experience & Educational Background:

• Licensed psychologist preferable
• Licensed social worker with several years experience

Skills & Competencies:

• Proficient in evidence based therapy modalities
• Experience with college student mental health
• Excellent writing skills, interest in speaking and educating student and faculty on areas such as mental well-being, drugs and alcohol, suicide prevention

Salary Range:

$35-$40 per hour
