The Academic Success Center (ASC) at the Johns Hopkins School of Nursing (JHSON) was established in 2018, as part of the School of Nursing's commitment to supporting student success. The ASC promotes student success by providing learner-centric, engaging, responsive, and interactive academic support for enrolled SON degree and certificate students. ASC tutors help support the center's mission by facilitating student learning and the development of critical thinking and analysis skills. Our tutors do not edit or proofread work, nor do they simply provide answers to homework or exam questions. Rather, they work collaboratively with students to engage them in their own learning and problem-solving process.
