Shift Schedule: Thursday-Saturday, 7:00 AM - 3:15 PM
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Campus: Evanston
Approximate start date: February 12, 2023
Approximate end date: TBD (not to exceed 6 months)

Northwestern University is seeking a temporary Quarantine/Isolation Housing Coordinators for the Evanston campus.

Temporary Job Description:

• Manage IQ housing rosters and access
• Provide transportation via golf cart for students moving from permanent assignments to IQ housing
• Deliver food to students each day
• Provide lockout assistance
• Coordinate mail and package delivery
• Check IQ rooms for readiness prior to student arrival
• Serve as a single point of contact to students in IQ housing and connect students to campus resources (counseling, academics, maintenance issues)
• Coordinate trash collection and laundry services
• Regularly communicate with students and elevate concerns to supervisory staff
• Serve as staff presence at entries of I/Q buildings   

Qualifications Required:

• A bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience;
• Strong writing skills;
• High level of organizational skills and attention to detail;
• Diligent and can work independently;
• Experience working with confidential information;
• Professionalism;
• Flexibility, adaptability in a fast paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous student affairs or health care experience
• Ability to work with students in an empathetic and compassionate manner
• Ability and willingness to follow CDC guidelines pertaining to COVID-19, including utilizing PPE
• Must possess a valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle.
• Must be physically able to carry up to 20lbs up five flights of stairs.
• Will be required to maintain strict confidentiality.

Software Required:

MS Office suite 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
