The Office of Student Affairs is seeking to fill the position of  Student Programs Advisor II, Assistant Director of Academic and Career Advising. This position is responsible for supporting   the transition to residency for medical students and includes career exploration and academic advising. Responsibilities include:
Meet with and advise students individually and in small groups regarding course scheduling, specialty selection, and the transition to residency.
Review and revise personal statements and CVs.
In collaboration with clinical departmental advisors, develop individual plans for students as they prepare their application for residency.
Draft the Medical Student Performance Evaluation (MSPE) for review by the Associate Dean of Student Affairs and to support the application to student residency.
Develop career exploration programming for medical students.
Work with clinical departments to develop and finalize scheduling of their required course, selectives, and electives.
The annual base salary range for this position is $64,480- $67,000.
