Position Information Under the general supervision of the Director of Basic Needs, the Basic Needs Manager formulates and administers policies, processes, and resources as the lead for the Emergency Crisis Response Team (ECRT) on campus. The Basic Needs Manager coordinates the intake and counseling for all ECRT applicants and makes referrals to appropriate campus and community partners. The incumbent ensures compliance with federal, state, and university policies and regulations regarding release of confidential information, document collection, record retention, and co-creates policies and procedures for the broader UCR Basic Needs Department. The Basic Needs Manager plans the organization, coordination, and effective utilization of resources to effectively support the basic needs of the economically diverse student populations of the UCR community. The incumbent provides trainings, helps with strategic planning, and functions with a high degree of autonomy. The budgeted salary amount for this position is up to $85,900.

Advanced knowledge of advising and counseling techniques. Advanced knowledge of Student Affairs/Student Life specialization.
