The Director of Student Involvement reports to the Associate Vice President for Campus Life. The Director is responsible for providing visionary leadership by keeping up to date with new trends and theories in the field of Student Affairs. The Director is responsible for the overall management, planning, administration, and evaluation of the department’s programs, services, facilities, and budgets. The Director also provides leadership in the design and implementation of Student Involvement department initiatives and programs which include, but are not limited to, co-curricular programs and leadership development, fraternity and sorority life, student organization services and support for approximately 450 student clubs and organizations, university-wide student success and engagement activities, and international student programming services. Director oversees committees for Campus Life such as professional development and engagement for staff. Additionally, the Director works closely with the student government and provides support and advising to various officers and/or committees as needed.
