Position Title: Recruitment and Advisement Coordinator, Office of Admissions & Advisement

Position Summary:

• Possess detailed knowledge of admissions requirements and help implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to targeted student populations.
• Provide customer service to students and applicants and advise on the admissions process.
• Manage the SPPS programs application experience.
• Maintain the SPPS Configuration Portal and School Pages via the AACP maintenance system.
• Use the admissions management online platform WebAdmit as well as UB's Student Information Systems (SIS) Slate and HUB to administer the application process.
• Conduct initial application review and collaborate on the PharmD interview process.
• Support student programs and student services administration.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and one year of higher education or related experience. An equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, with occasional evenings and weekends
• Good judgement and discretion with confidential materials
• Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with SPPS, UB and external partners
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently and as an effective team member

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a pharmacy school or other health related field
• 3 years of experience in higher education
