Position Summary:
The University at Buffalo (UB) School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences(SPPS) is seeking a Recruitment and Advisement Coordinator to work within the Office of Admissions and Advisement (OAA). This position will work with the OAA with its recruitment events, academic advisement, admissions, student services, registrar, and on-boarding in addition to general administrative responsibilities in a busy decanal unit. The School is seeking a motivated, organized, and dedicated individual with strong communication and organizational skills.
Job Duties:
Possess detailed knowledge of admissions requirements and help implement comprehensive recruitment strategies to targeted student populations.
Provide customer service to students and applicants and advise on the admissions process.
Manage the SPPS programs application experience.
Maintain the SPPS Configuration Portal and School Pages via the AACP maintenance system.
Use the admissions management online platform WebAdmit as well as UB's Student Information Systems (SIS) Slate and HUB to administer the application process.
Conduct initial application review and collaborate on the PharmD interview process.
Support student programs and student services administration.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and one year of higher education or related experience. An equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered
Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point
Excellent verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work flexible hours, with occasional evenings and weekends
Good judgement and discretion with confidential materials
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with SPPS, UB and external partners
Ability to handle multiple priorities and work independently and as an effective team member
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a pharmacy school or other health related field
