This position promotes the university, Office of the Provost, and Office of Student Affairs by engaging with internal and external audiences. They manage content for Provost and Vice Provost of Student Affairs (VPSA) communications, Provost and Student Affairs websites, and social media sites. Principle project manager for events overseen and hosted by the Provost Office, engaging with other areas of the university, internal and external audiences, and vendors.
Minimum Qualifications:
Proven experience, at least five years, in business communication and high-profile event design and execution;
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills to clearly explain to and/or influence audiences;
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution;
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities with frequent interruptions while maintaining professional composure;
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to relate to diverse constituencies;
Creative thinking, flexibility, and strong attention to detail;
Ability to manage a complex set of assignments through strong analytical, planning and interpersonal skills;
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion;
Proven record of upholding strict confidentiality, as applicable.
