Job Description: The University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for Program Coordinator for Residential Education, Office of Housing and Residential Life, Division of Student Affairs [R0135099].
ROLE of the POSITION: Reporting to the Assistant Director for Residential Life within the Office of Housing and Residential Life (Student Life/Division of Student Affairs), this position exists to oversee administration of student leader, advising, risk management, financial oversight for the UNLV Residence Hall Association (RHA) and National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH).
This live-on position supports the Assistant Director for Residential Life in all aspects of student leadership development, RA recruitment and training, NRHH recruitment and training, duty coverage for HRL, cocurricular programming and advising student conference travel to regional and national conferences/meetings.
Programs are designed with an equity and inclusion lens. Through the intentional use of student development theory, cultural identity theory, and leadership theory and this position works to enhance a growing sense of community by fostering students’ awareness and appreciation for social justice, leadership, and community involvement. Ability to work some evenings and weekends required.
