This role is a live-on role where the hours of work can occasionally span outside of the traditional 8-5 M-F workdays. Times where this may occur but is not limited, is time of staff training, on-call, programming, etc.
There is an on-call system set in place for 5pm-8am each day, ensuring that staff who are not on-call can feel a sense of separation from the role.

Supervision of approximately 10-20 undergraduate, four graduate, and one professional level staff. Works in collaboration of full-time faculty member (House Professor).
Required:
Bachelors plus 2-3 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Two years of residential life experience, with at least one year of residential life experience at the graduate level or above.
Solid foundation in student development theory and student learning theory, and their application to professional practice in an evolving residential setting.
Demonstrated commitment to personal and departmental integrity, creativity, collaboration, initiative, multicultural education, and professionalism.
Demonstrated cultural competence; proven effectiveness in serving the needs of a diverse undergraduate student population.
Experience supervising student staff.
Familiarity with budget administration.
Ability to adapt personal and professional schedule to the College’s year-round calendar.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Supervisory and leadership ability.
Excellent communication, collaboration, listening and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to foster positive and productive relationships with all campus constituencies, including institutional leaders, faculty, staff, students, and parents and families.
Ability to balance competing demands under pressure.
Preferred:
Master’s degree in student personnel, education, counseling, or related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience with computer systems and applications, including StarRez,Maxient, and OrgSync.
