As part of this process, we are seeking a collaborative professional in the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life (FSL). The assistant director serves as an integral part of the FSL leadership team. This full-time professional staff position will report directly to the Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life within the Division of Student Affairs. Essential Functions
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Under the supervision of the director, assists in managing the daily administrative operations of the Office
Builds rapport with campus partners and external stakeholders
Guides the implementation of community and/or prevention and harm reduction initiatives in collaboration with campus partners
Serves as advisor to student leaders and supervises part-time student employees
Coordinates community assessments in collaboration with campus partners to evaluate the needs of members in the fraternity/sorority community as well as the efficacy of Office sponsored educational programming.
Be a knowledgeable resource for members of the fraternity/sorority community.
Utilize critical analysis, cultural competence, sound judgment, and prudence with confidentiality
Utilize effective written and verbal communication with the University community, external stakeholders, and senior leadership
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Office in the absence of the director
Prioritize diversity, inclusion, and equity in daily work and strategic goals in alignment with the Division of Student Affairs strategic plan
Participate in departmental and/or divisional meetings and committees to communicate the business of the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life

Salary Information
$48,900 - $80,000/year; paid on a monthly basis
Grade: GGS 10
University Title: Senior Student Service Coordinator
Schedule
40 hours per week, Monday-Friday. This position may require evening and weekend hours supporting activities and programs within the department. Occasionally division and campus projects may require additional hours outside of your normal schedule.
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree plus three years of experience or bachelors degree plus five years of experience.
