Advertised Job Summary:
The Program Coordinator for Campus Partnerships will manage University 101's partnerships and campus partner presentations in order to ensure high quality educational experiences that support the delivery of University 101 course content. For context, campus partner presentations are developed by University of South Carolina offices and departments, are presented to University 101 classes during class periods, are interactive and encourage student discussion, and are an opportunity for students to learn relevant information about a particular topic from campus offices.
This position will manage the logistics of campus partner presentations, the development of support materials related to campus partner presentation topics, and the formative and summative assessment of campus partner presentations. This role will also assist with the development of the Campus Resource Guide, write and distribute the weekly instructor newsletter, serve as the chairperson for the University 101 Scholarship, and manage special partnerships and projects. This position will report to the Associate Director for Communications and Partnerships.
University 101 Programs is an internationally renowned academic unit that focuses on helping students transition into, through, and out of the University of South Carolina. We offer close to 300 sections of our number one ranked University 101 class each year to over 5500 students and support over 500 instructors, peer leaders, and graduate leaders teaching the course. This position will contribute to the overarching goals of University 101 Programs by enhancing the quality of campus partner presentations.
Advertised Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree and 2 or more years of experience, or master's degree plus one year working in higher education.
