Position Summary:
At the UCI Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing, we dedicate ourselves to the education of nursing professionals who improve patient care and promote community and population health, locally and globally, and we strive to produce leaders in research, education, and clinical practice who will champion collaborative, compassionate, and interdisciplinary evidence-based practice. The academic programs that the Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing offers include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Science, a Master of Science in Nursing Science, a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nursing Science.
Under general direction, and reporting to the Director of Student Affairs, the incumbent serves as community and agency relations coordinator for clinical support services within the Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing. This includes maintaining strategic affiliations with existing and potential community partners for the Prelicensure and DNP-FNP programs and conducting site visits to new and existing community partners in addition to other clinical coordination. Duties also include planning and coordinating community-facing events and activities such as the school's Nursing Camp in Summer.

$64,400.00 - $114,200.00 (annual)
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a health-related field or 3-5 years of health-related or healthcare simulation experience may be accepted as a substitute
Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training
Bachelor's degree in a health-related field. 3-5 years of health-related or healthcare simulation experience may be accepted as a substitute Experience working effectively with community organizations. Proficient in Microsoft software applications, including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint Ability to work as a member of a team and as a solo representative of the organization Self-motivated and require little to no supervision for daily activities Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment; able to work evenings/weekends when required Excellent communication skills to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with diverse groups, within and outside the University; include verbal, written, active listening, and critical thinking. Service-oriented and responsive to questions and requests. Ability to interact in a professional, resourceful, and courteous manner. Strong interpersonal skills. Actively cooperates and supports the work of others. Ability to work productively with anyone regardless of background. Empathetic and aware of impact on others. Strong problem-solving skills to assist learners and resolve issues. Excellent organizational skills, analytical, and demonstrated attention to detail. Proven project and event planning/management skills. Ability to represent the School with regard to academic programs and general student clinical instruction needs.
Preferred:
Master's degree in related area preferred
Basic knowledge of relevant policies and regulatory requirements. Basic knowledge of health professions education industry and clinical instruction.
