Purdue University is looking for a candidate that can effectively engage student and employer constituencies and interact with diverse populations to become its next Career Services Consultant. As a Career Services Consultant, you will advise students and alumni regarding a variety of career development and job search concerns. Coordinates on-campus recruiting activities for selected employers and serves as a resource to all employers. Develops and coordinates student programming and experiential learning initiatives. Proves commitment to diversity and inclusion through services and programming to students representing diverse, underrepresented populations and supporting employers through their DEI recruitment efforts.

What is needed:
Bachelor’s degree in advising, counseling, education, recruitment, employer engagement, administration, human resources, or a related field
Two years of experience in advising, counseling, education, recruitment, employer engagement, administration, or related field
Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, counseling, and organizational skills
Computer and online systems proficient. Must be able to balance varied tasks, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information with discretion
Excellent time management skills
Ability to represent the Center and Purdue University well to internal and external contacts
Technical competency in analyzing and presenting data
