Job Summary

Elizabethtown Community and Technical College Upward Bound Math and Science program is seeking part-time, temporary instructors for its Summer Academy program.

Job Duties:

-Preparing course plans and materials
-Design grade-appropriate curriculum based on Kentucky state standards of learning
-Delivering in-seat courses to high school students grades 9-12
-Evaluating student progress
-Provide tutoring as needed
-Participate in scheduled out-of-class activities with participants

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in STEM, education, counseling, or related field, previous teaching experience 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

Additional Skills Requested:

-Experience in curriculum design
-Experience evaluating student progress
-Willingness and ability to provide tutoring
-Willingness and ability to participate in out-of-class activities with participants
