The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for planning, developing, and monitoring behavioral support services to meet the needs of clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. The BCBA consults and collaborates with clients’ caregivers, teachers and other service providers. The BCBA manages clients’ treatment teams and provides training and direct supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians. The BCBA is accountable to Lehigh University Autism Services Director and Clinical Director. 1. Conducts relevant assessments and develops and evaluates related programs for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) (60% of time) * Administers, conducts, evaluates and supervises the implementation of behavioral assessment measures and functional assessment measures * Develops individualized skill development programs using evidence-based practices for home, school, community and clinic settings; also, designs behavior support plans based on functional assessment data * Ensures appropriate behavioral data systems are implemented such that quantifiable behavioral data are collected at regular intervals to allow for the continual evaluation of behavior plans and the achievement of individual goals and objectives * Maintains and acquires cutting edge knowledge of applied behavior analysis and other evidence-based practices by attending required trainings and reading peer reviewed journals on a regular basis
2. Trains parents, Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and other Lehigh University Autism Services (LUAS) staff in behavioral skills needed to carry out client’s programs (25% of time) * Conducts regular caregiver training and consultation * Teaches RBT's and other LUAS staff on the accurate implementation of clients’ programs, data collection systems and all necessary monitoring and reporting systems * Provides ongoing individual program oversight and conducts weekly supervision meetings with RBT
3. Completes paperwork needed for quality monitoring, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) licensure and insurance reimbursement (15% of time) * Completes all necessary documentation in a timely and satisfactory manner as requested by the Clinical Director and Director * Develops written reports documenting behavioral recommendations for caregivers and agency personnel in a timely and accurate manner

Qualifications
Master's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience
Board Certified Behavior Analyst
PA Behavior Specialist
1-3 years as BCBA, 3-5 years working with children with autism
Supervisory experience preferred
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Adapt teaching techniques and approaches to the students' individual learning styles and needs
Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position
