ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT II, Student Organizations, Leadership and Engagement (SOLE), to perform administrative duties related to student organizations and the student government Undergraduate Association (UA). Responsibilities will include planning, managing, and tracking event/meeting details and expenses; website maintenance; handling payroll; and serving as the point of contact regarding office systems, programs, and services. Will also be responsible for greeting visitors, responding to inquiries and identifying additional or alternate resources as needed; planning and coordinating events for students; providing financial support for the SOLE office and Undergraduate Association; and writing a distributing a variety of communications to students and student organization leaders.
REQUIRED: high school diploma or its equivalent; at least three years of administrative experience; ability to anticipate, prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously despite frequent interruptions and deadline pressure; proactive approach to projects and problem-solving; excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills; keen attention to accuracy and detail; discretion with confidential information; ability to work independently and as part of a team; proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite; and willingness to learn new applications. Hourly rate: $25.00
This position has the flexibility to work from home one day per week, based on the needs of the office.
