Vision & Strategy Alignment

• Provides leadership, vision and strategic direction for the Enrollment Services Operations department and collaborates with other leadership in Enrollment Services to develop and implement cross-departmental initiatives in accordance with College mission and vision, and leads initiatives.
• Establishes strategic goals and objectives for the department. Represents Enrollment Services in enterprise system steering conversations. Recommends approval of College-wide projects. Serves as Project Sponsor for Enrollment Services projects.
• Provides direction for outreach and engagement plans, continuous assessment and improvements for business processes intended to improve the student experience, and realizes gains in efficiency and accuracy.
  

Operational Leadership

• Leads a team of two assistant directors (who in turn lead a combined team of approximately 15 total employees) to manage department operations, which includes Integrated Processing and Integrated Systems. Supervises the ESO leadership team in performance of job duties and responsibilities.
• Assigns and delegates tasks, works with leadership team to create planned redundancy of skills and knowledge, provides direction, resolves work problems, communicates job expectations, leads goal setting and performance evaluations, identifies and/or develops professional growth development opportunities, evaluates and aligns staffing and organizational structure with departmental strategy; interprets, explains, implements and enforces College policies.

Fiscal & Administrative

• Prepares, monitors, controls, and ensures compliance with department budget. Monitors, verifies and reconciles revenue and expenditure of budgeted funds. Keeps secure and accurate records. Maintains required documentation, including contract, status reports, staffing reports, budget information, and other data.
• Recommends policy and process changes accordingly. Maintains confidentiality of student and personnel records,

About Columbus State Community College

Columbus State Community College has been meeting the diverse educational needs of the Central Ohio community for more than 50 years. The college is proud to be an important contributor to the growth and progress of the region and to serve as the front door to higher education in Central Ohio. From the first graduating class in 1965 through this year, 50,000 students have earned associate degrees in 50-plus technical fields and academic transfer programs. Columbus State also offers Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degree programs whose coursework fulfills the freshman and sophomore year requirements for bachelor’s degree programs offered by four-year colleges and universities throughout the state. Specific transfer agreements with more than 40 colleges and universities are in place at Columbus State, and new direct-to degree partnership programs are being developed all the time. Columbus State now has two campuses serving Central Ohio educational needs. The Columbus Campus is located on 85 acres in downtown Columbus. The 108-acre, full-service Delaware Campus welcomed its first students in 2010. Additionally, Columbus State offers classes at nine convenient regional learning centers throughout Central Ohio.
