Overview
SDSU Global Campus strives to be a global leader in providing innovative education programs that transform lives locally and internationally. Our mission is to deliver innovative educational experiences to all learners through credit and non-credit academic and special programs for individuals and groups at various times, in myriad locations, and via different modalities throughout the year.

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

SDSU Global Campus is looking for a student assistant to assist with our growing CRM system (Salesforce Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud). This student assistant position will be working with the various departments in Global Campus on account access, email campaigns, troubleshooting views/reports and creating training materials. This is a full time summer position from May 15 to Aug 18, 2023.


Responsibilities
Responsibilities (95%)
  • Account creation/password reset request of various user applications.
  • Assist with merging duplicate records.
  • Create and schedule email campaigns.
  • Create and schedule SMS campaigns.
  • Create and maintain reports from campaigns or other data sources.
  • Build reports and dashboards from standard and custom objects.
  • Assist in creating user training materials.
  • Test, solve, and respond to end-user issues.

Other duties as assigned (5%)



Qualifications
Minimum Education
  • Current enrollment as an undergraduate student at SDSU

Minimum Experience
  • none

Qualification and Special Skills
  • Current San Diego State University (Graduate or Undergraduate) student.
  • Ability to quickly learn and apply elementary office methods and procedures.
  • Ability to follow oral and written directions, perform arithmetic computations where required, match names and numbers quickly and accurately.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.


Desired Qualification and Special Skills
  • Organized, responsible, curious, and creative.
  • Good oral and writing communication skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce applications, DataLoader, Informatica.
  • Experience with HTML.
