The Coordinator of Academic Program Recruitment and Admissions collaborates with the Director for Student Affairs and Assistant Director for Student Affairs to implement strategic recruitment and enrollment plans for academic programs offered in the College of Nursing (CON). This position will take part in preparing the applications and interviews for the CON academic and certificate programs and implement the edits provided by faculty and staff; lead admissions processing efforts; conduct follow up communication with prospective students regarding their application by collaborating with Student Affairs and the marketing teams; develop relationships with colleagues from across campus by attending committee meetings as the representative of Student Affairs and the CON; support faculty and staff led initiatives; may be required to attend regional and national recruitment events; support CON hosted recruitment events, yield events, and monthly open houses/overview sessions; and complete other duties as assigned. The position requires occasional regional and national travel, evening, and weekend hours. Additionally, the successful applicant will be required to maintain office hours on the Columbus campus during the business week.
Minimum Education & Experience Required: High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 4-6 years of relevant experience preferred.
Desired: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
