Impact & Responsibilities: Oversees the day-to-day operations of two-three residential facilities and creating a comprehensive residential experience in their buildings; recruits, selects, trains, supervises, and evaluates residence hall staff (undergraduate and/or graduate) and oversees their daily responsibilities and development; coordinates the residence hall conduct process for their buildings; chairs and serves on various departmental and university committees; be visible within their communities and engage in personal interactions with students; provides leadership, mentorship, and support to students; serves in a rotating on-call capacity for the residence hall system; communicates pertinent information to other departments on campus; and manages administrative items within the hall including the residence hall budget.
Requirements: Master’s degree; at least one academic year of university residence hall leadership experience at a post-undergraduate or graduate student level; and strong written and oral communication, administrative and organizational skills.
Student experience will be considered. Frequent evening and weekend work will be necessary.
