The Placement Exchange Job Board

Provides first point of contact assisting the students regarding their student accounts from all programs of the University.  Assists with various accounts receivable functions.

• First point of contact providing counsel and customer service to students from all programs of the University regarding their student accounts, including parents of College of Arts & Sciences students. Responds to questions or concerns, explaining Bethel procedures and policies, and first level problem solving.
• Actively works to collect payments from past due student accounts.
• Manages Internal and External communication distribution.
• Processes and maintains accurate records of scholarship checks on student accounts. 
• Maintains detailed records for back-up and future scholarship data.
• Serves as a backup for Senior Student Accounts Representative upon need.
• Leads dept Title IV loan refund processing.  
• Processes Third Party Billing for students upon request
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

• Two years of office and customer service related experience.
• Previous student accounts and/or financial aid experience preferred.
• Previous experience with Banner (or other enterprise database system) is preferred.

Minimum of a high school degree, or equivalent required.

Must be able to work in a sitting position at a computer for extended periods of time. Must be able to independently operate a heavy door using a pin pad. Must be able to stand and operate the folding machine, copier and printer in the workroom. Must be able to work in close quarters. Minimal lifting required.
