Job Summary: | -Provides care to individuals within Gynecology and Sexual Health to ensure patient centered care that promotes and supports physical and mental well-being. -Evaluates current care plans and completes assessments. -Documents nursing care and utilizes nursing protocols to meet patient needs. -Collaborates with the providers to develop treatment plans. -Educates patients and their support systems on how to manage conditions, promote the health and wellbeing, and what resources are available. -Ensure the clinic has the needed inventory and equipment. |
Responsibilities: | Provides professional nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation to ensure physical and mental well-being. - 75% Provides care to individuals within a specialized area of medicine to ensure physical and mental well-being
- 15% Educates patients and their support systems on how to manage conditions and to promote the health and well-being of patients and those around them
- 5% Tracks inventory levels and places replenishment orders
- 5% May provide expertise, training, and guidance to the community, peers, and/or students

Qualifications: | Required Skills: - Experience working under nurse protocols - English proficiency - Technical skills such as: injections, IV, triage, use of nurse protocols, patient education
Preferred skills, knowledge:
-Preferred 3 years experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a Gynecology and/or Sexual Health ambulatory clinic setting -Broad knowledgebase of various contraception methods -Phone triage experience -Trauma informed care training -Experience with patient education and knowledge with HIV PrEP medications |
License/Certification: | Required RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure Currently licensed in the state of Wisconsin. |

Salary: | Minimum $72,800 ANNUAL (12 months) Depending on Qualifications This is an annualized rate, with the hourly starting rate $35/hr. |
