Job Summary/Basic Function: The Coordinator for Student Programming will enrich the student experience primarily through the strategic delivery of high-quality large-scale programs, campus traditions and hallmark events. The Coordinator is charged with ensuring the design and delivery of a holistic, diverse, and engaging slate of programming that will appeal to both traditional and non-traditional student populations. The Coordinator of Student Programming will also develop and strengthen strategic programming partnerships with other departments in the Division of Student Access and Success, and across campus with educational partners. The Coordinator of Student Programming has oversight of programming and serves as an advisor, advocate, and resource to the WSUSA Programming Vice-President, Programming Team, and is responsible for planning selected University events such as Homecoming, WeberStock, and Block Party. This position reports to the Assistant Director of Student Involvement and Leadership. Must be able to work evenings and weekends and as a member of a team.
Required Qualifications: Required:
Experience in planning large-scale campus events, advising student leaders, working with campus partners, and/or related experiences.
I.T. skills related to position (i.e. Google Apps, Scheduling Software, Org Sync, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications: Seeking applicants with the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

Comprehension of current issues related to leadership development, student involvement, leadership, and student development.
