The Area Coordinator position is a 10-month, full time, live-in professional position which will manage on-campus residential facilities and will have a specific focus in residential life projects and staffing.  Area Coordinators act as integral members of the Division of Student Affairs providing programs designed to support and enhance student success.    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise, evaluate, and support residential area paraprofessional staff and assist in recruitment, selection, and training of these personnel. Facilitate positive community development in assigned residential area and create professional presence therein. Develop relationships with residents to know and understand their issues/needs and maintain availability
