The Assistant Director reports to the Executive Director for Institutional Diversity & Inclusion and is responsible for providing advisement, initiatives, programs, referrals, and training. The Assistant Director will advocate for inclusion and equity around issues of sexual orientation and gender identity and facilitate and plan programming centered around LGBTQ+ initiatives. This position is additionally charged with fostering collaborations with various divisions such as academic affairs, recruitment and retention and student success, and other units within the division of student affairs. This office is located in the Center for Student Inclusion and Diversity.
