Responsible for the leadership and supervision of all student services areas and departments listed above Recommend to the Provost for approval of the employment and assignment of personnel for Student Services and grant programs; serve as institutional Perkins grant contact person for Midland College Serve on President’s Cabinet Support and attend College events Work with students individually to solve problems and evaluate requests for exceptions Prepare budget recommendations to the Provost/President for the Student Services area Actively participate in strategic planning, policy formation, decision making and the assessment of institutional effectiveness Serve as student discipline official for the College
