Job Summary:
The Part-time Academic Coach will provide one-on-one and group academic coaching services in different areas (e.g. math, reading decoding and fluency, writing, science, etc.) to students participating in the TRIO Rhode Island Educational Talent Search program to support successful study skills and strategies and timely course completion. The Coach will plan and conduct workshops, and support participants in a broad range of study skills areas. Academic coaches will monitor student progress, maintain notes, and report student progress to the program director.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group academic coaching & tutoring in-person and via remote learning technology
Support the effective development of a broad range of study skills
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Sociology, Liberal Arts, or related field such as English, Mathematics, or Science
Excellent interpersonal communication and motivational skills
Passion for bettering the lives of students
Ability to travel to Central Falls, Providence, and Woonsocket

Campus Location: Primarily located at the Providence Campus
Full-time/Part-time: Part-Time
Salary Range: $25.00/ Hr
