Position Summary: The primary location of this position is the Cullowhee, NC campus.
The Assistant Director for Campus Programs reports to the Associate Director for Student Programs & Activities. This position is responsible for assisting in supervising the student programming board, which is made up of approximately 8undergraduate students who coordinate and present a variety of programs for the WCU community.
This position researches and inquires with agents, vendors, and other institutions to bring an array of programming to WCU. This position works collaboratively with the Department of Residential Living, the Department of Athletics, the Department of Campus Recreation and Wellness, and other campus partners to provide campus wide programming.
This position will play a large role in planning the Class Photo, Freshman Run, and Spring Fling. This position assists in creating, implementing, and reviewing assessment data from Last Minute Production's programs to demonstrate effectiveness of the programming unit in meeting the Department of Campus Activities' mission. This position will serve as a designee/representative in the absence of the Associate Director for Student Programs & Activities.
