The mission of the Dean Students Office is to initiate learner-centered programs and services that foster a culture of care conducive to academic and personal development. The Assistant Dean will: Provide programmatic support to a diverse range of students in need and crisis. Overseeing and planning of events for the Homeless and Hungry Students initiative, which includes overseeing the Emergency Grant Fund and coordinating with the campus and community partners to support housing and food, insecure students. Monitoring and responding to both the Dean of Students and Parent and Family Support email accounts within a reasonable time frame, professionally, and with accurate information regarding campus referrals.
