Working out of a Centralized Advising Office, Academic Advisors will be responsible for managing a caseload of students through targeted and intentional exchanges. By applying a holistic model of support and following best practices, Academic Advisors will engage students throughout their time at Manhattan College. They will pay special attention to a student’s transition into their degree, and empower them to achieve educational success during their first year of studies. Students will move to a faculty advisor once they have achieved satisfactory academic progress and, where applicable, chosen a major. Academic Advisors will be cross trained across one or more of the academic schools. Under the guidance of the Associate Director of Academic Advising, they will:
