The University of North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of Associate Director of Residential Experiences in the department of Housing & Residence Life. This position is a full-time, professional staff member of Housing & Residence Life, within the Division of Student Affairs. Responsibilities include developing and facilitating educational, developmental, and academic opportunities for residential students, and managing student support needs by coordinating and facilitating student outreach.

Minimum qualifications include: Bachelor’s degree in counseling, psychology, sociology, social work, communication, or a related field is required; master’s degree in student affairs, psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is preferred; experience in crisis intervention and response and case management procedures is required, preferably in a higher education setting; one to three years of progressively responsible experience in student affairs is required; and experience working directly with students from diverse backgrounds is required.
