The University of North Alabama is accepting applications for the position of Area Coordinator. This position is a full-time, live-in professional staff position in the department of Housing & Residence Life, within the division of Student Affairs. This position is primarily responsible for an assigned area of on-campus housing area which totals 1,300-1,500 residents. The area coordinator is the primary facilitator in the development of a residential learning environment, facility management, and overall administrative operations. The incumbent in this position must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Duties include direct supervision of 15-20 paraprofessional student staff including resident advisors, sorority house managers, graduate assistants, advising student groups, and ancillary duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications for this position include: bachelor's degree is required; master’s degree in college student personnel, higher education administration, college and university leadership or related field is preferred; prior residence hall live-in experience as either student staff or as professional staff is required; and the successful candidate will be required to live in an on-campus residential apartment.
