Job Purpose: The Assistant Director for New Student and Family Programs is responsible for leading the university’s parent and family programming efforts, including signature events such as Family Weekend and Spring Family Day. This role develops and executes strategies to enhance parent and family engagement. The Assistant Director also supports the coordination and execution of new student orientation, transition, and first-year experience programs. Additionally, the position supervises office operations and student employees, manages program budgets, and fosters collaboration across campus and community partners. Reporting to the Director for New Student and Family Programs, this role plays a vital part in shaping a supportive and engaging experience for Tennessee Te
