Working in close collaboration with the Senior Accounting Specialist, the Accounting Specialist ensures the timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions for the departmental and student organizations, by developing and implementing processes, providing staff support, and reconciling accounts and correcting errors.   Key Accountabilities: Financial Management (60%)Facilitates the processing of all financial transactions for the department and student organization accounts through regular communication with internal and external constituents; reviews monthly financial transactions for accuracy and prepares corrections and reports as necessary.
