JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Director of Global Student Success, the Administrative Coordinator serves as the administrative operations lead for the Global Student Success team. The Coordinator will support the operations and administrative projects for the team including but not limited to supporting recruitment and onboarding, event and project planning and coordination, customer service, travel arrangements and planning for site visits. A critical member of the team, the Coordinator will provide general administrative support to the Global Network Student Success team including helping to support staff on-site internationally. The Administrative Coordinator will play a key role in the effective and successful daily operations of the team.
The Coordinator should possess excellent problem solving, communication, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Additionally, this position demands a significant amount of patience, flexibility, and initiative.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree required
Working knowledge of student life and international travel.
Ability to work well with limited supervision, both independently and in a team environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in languages other than English a plus.
Excellent intercultural communication skills. Proven ability to positively engage people from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Strong interpersonal skills, sufficient to inspire others and to work effectively and collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and other stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving and strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to strategize, prioritize, and multi-task to meet goals and deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
Strong organizational, project management, administrative, and computer skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Support recruitment and onboarding.
Support training for staff pre-departure, including all logistics and resources.
Support providing customer service to students and families.
Administrative support including logistics, scheduling, and purchasing.
