The Assistant Resident Director (ARD) is an entry-level full-time live-in position responsible for assisting the Resident Director (RD) with the implementation of the student development program in campus housing at UC Santa Barbara. Under the supervision of the RD, the ARD utilizes a curricular approach and equity mindset as cornerstones of their daily work in facilitating student wellness, development, and belonging in a residential community. The contract term is 12 months (August - July) with the opportunity for a renewal of one additional term.
