Position Summary:
This position is responsible for providing day-to-day operations support to team members throughout the planning, implementation and delivery of programs, and may serve as first point of contact for the unit.Duties may include:

• Serving as primary contact with program participants, customer service and office support functions
• Facilitating communicating between program participants and managerial staff
• Coordinating arrangements for the program such as meetings, conferences and banquets
• Collecting, compiling and summarizing program data and managing records
• Maintaining program calendars and schedules
• May utilize University programs to create, review and approval financial documents, and to provide routine financial reports to the program administrator
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Three years performing administrative, office and/or program support functions
• Composing, proofing and editing a variety of documents, using proper grammar and punctuation as demonstrated in application materials
• Using computer software and applications for word processing, developing spreadsheets, email and internet research

Preferred Qualifications:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience with student organization management systems and standard office software
• Experience with working in a fast paced, collaboration environment while managing multiple projects
• Experience working with, mentoring and supervising students within a university setting
• Experience in educating diverse audiences
• Experience writing, editing and developing grants, marketing materials, social media and printing
