Job Description:

Required Qualifications:

• Master's degree. 
• Three or more years of higher education administrative experience or at least three years of progressively responsible experience in higher education. 
• Demonstrated experience working with a diverse student population and proven understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion as critical components of academic excellence and student success.
• Excellent communication skills, i.e., verbal, listening, written, interpersonal, and public presentation. 
• Experience in the areas of leadership, planning, enrollment management, student affairs program development and evaluation, staffing, budget management, and supervision. 
• Experience with understanding broad strategic planning and the critical need for attention to detail with demonstrated abilities in effective critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making. 
• Record of data informed decision-making including experience in analyzing multiple datasets and resources of information to make recommendations and implement solutions.

• Experience in or understanding of developing and maintaining strong relationships with external partners, such as K12, Adult Basic Education, community organizations, and/or workforce centers. 
• Experience leading innovation and organizational change as it relates to programs and student services. 
• Demonstrated success in building and maintaining partnerships and relationships across various stakeholder groups. 
• Experience being able to delegate, collaborate, and promote consensus in accomplishing the college's strategic plan while maintaining trust, cooperation, and cohesion across the college.
• Evidence of ability to deal with demanding and high stress situations, multiple priorities, and varied situations simultaneously. 
• Experience working in a unionized educational setting.
